Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is an effective and environmentally sensitive approach to pest management. It relies on a combination of common-sense practices. IPM programs use current, comprehensive information on the life cycles of pests and their interaction with the environment. This information, in combination with available pest control methods, is used to manage pests with the least possible hazard to people, property, and the environment.
By utilizing a combination of routine monitoring, electronic record keeping, and trend analysis, we’re able to determine if and when you’ll need treatment. We also determine the superior treatment strategy for individual pests and area types. These treatments may or may not use pesticides. The intent, however, is to reduce the use of pesticides whenever and wherever possible.
