If you plan on using any services during the coronavirus outbreak, you probably have several important questions to ask them first. We want to answer those questions as clearly as possible, which is why we’ve responded to all of them right here. Here’s what you should know about how Griffin is working during Michigan’s shelter in place order:
Is Griffin Pest Solutions still open during Shelter in Place?
Yes. As a professional health and sanitation service, Griffin is considered an essential business and has received EPA approval to continue operation during the statewide shelter in place order. All Griffin locations remain open and ready to solve your pest problems at this time.
What precautions is Griffin taking to prevent the spread of the coronavirus during service calls?
Griffin has temporarily altered our service protocols in an effort to minimize contact with living spaces. We currently exclusively treat the outside of your property unless you specifically request we treat indoors, as well. During treatment, technicians wear protective safety gear, maintain social distance, and disinfect all surfaces they contact.

Will Griffin’s COVID-19 precautions make your pest control less effective?
No. Griffin remains committed to providing top-quality pest control to our residential and commercial customers. None of the measures we’ve implemented to minimize our risk of spreading the coronavirus will affect the efficacy of our pest solutions. We will solve your pest problem just as quickly and effectively as ever.
Has COVID-19 affected the operating hours or services Griffin offers?
No. As of now, all of Griffin’s locations remain open during regular business hours and continue to offer our full suite of residential and commercial pest solutions. We are experiencing no service delays or compromises. If you have a pest control problem, we can provide the solution now.
Will Griffin delay or cancel my ongoing pest service because of COVID-19?
No. Griffin technicians are still conducting all ongoing pest service plans according to schedule. During scheduled ongoing services, technicians will follow our current COVID-19 prevention protocols. All services will remain effective with regular exterior treatments. Can Griffin help protect my home or business from COVID-19?
