Griffin Pest Solutions, Inc. our process employs an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) approach for general pests. Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is an effective and environmentally sensitive approach to pest management. It relies on a combination of common-sense practices. IPM programs use current, comprehensive information on the life cycles of pests and their interaction with the environment. This information, in combination with available pest control methods, is used to manage pests with the least possible hazard to people, property, and the environment.
By utilizing a combination of routine monitoring, electronic record keeping, and trend analysis, we’re able to determine if and when you’ll need treatment. We also determine the superior treatment strategy for individual pests and area types. These treatments may or may not use pesticides. The intent, however, is to reduce the use of pesticides whenever and wherever possible.
At Griffin Pest Solutions, we believe a pest-free environment can be achieved most effectively when we become partners in treatment and prevention. When you work with Griffin professionals to create a custom-tailored IPM program, you get the best return on your investment.
Organic Treatment Options
For some customers, a true Organic Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program is the only choice. While there are many different definitions of an “organic” program, our organic program follows the mandates for organically grown and certified crops adhered to by our customers.
First, we conduct a review of our client’s pest management needs, then we identify our customer’s accrediting or certifying agency’s requirements, all so we can create a customized organic program that will provide world-class pest management and meet the rigorous organic specifications.
